Kearl, of Kanesville, who died Jan. 28 at McKay Dee Hospital, was the father of Miss Jana Kearl, and a brother of Udell Kearl both of Roy. Stoney Bowden has been in the hospital for treatment of injuries he received when he fell on the ice. Gary Drake is in the hospital where he has had surgery. With dog licenses coming due March 1 , a rabies clinic has been scheduled for Satur' day at the Lakeview Elementary School. Rabies clinic slated Saturday at school Roy residents will be able to participate in a rabies clinic close o home Saturday from 2 to 5p.m. According to Ben Reeves, Roy Animal Control officer Utah the Veterinary Medical Association , is helping to sponsor the clinic at the Lakeview Elementary school by supplying two local veterinarians to give the shots. Reeves will also be on hand at the clinic to sell licenses for $5 per animal . Pet owners should have their cats in a box or other type of container and dogs should be on a leash. Earl Osborne, of Ogden, father of Gordon Osborne of Roy, passed away recently. Funeral services were held last Saturday. Riley Dixon, 82, of Ogden, died Jan. 28 at his home. He was the father of Mrs. Judy Davenport, and the brother of Mrs. Wanda Hunt, both of Roy. Funeral services were held last Wednesday in Ogden. David Lamone, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Russell has been in the hospital for surgery. The father of Linda Heslop of Roy passed away last week. George C. Law, 72, of Ogden died Jan. 27 of a heart attack. He was the father of Raymond Law of Roy. He had been a member of the LDS Church and the Weber County Skills Center Board of Directors. Funeral services were held last Wednesday in Ogden. Pastor and Mrs. Charles Riggs of Roy are the proud parents of a baby boy born Feb. 6. Chris La Doux, World champion bareback rider recently was in Utah to star at the Salt Palace and share the coveted Texas Proud award with Henry Hilton of KSOP and Dave B. Smith of Washington Terrace. While in Utah, Chris heard of a teenage boy who had been shot in a hunting accident and Chris took time out of his busy schedule to visit his young fan and presented all of, Chris LaDouxs albums to the youngster. A native of our sister state, Wyoming, Chris was recently commissioned the job of recording two songs in tribute to the late Will Rogers. A recent recording session in Nashville which was witnessed by Grace Mikel, Editor of Texas Proud and a member of the Board of Governors for Golden Spike Country Music Inc. of Utah, and we have this report from Grade: The title song of the album, Paint Me back Home in Wyoming has been responsible for an order of 180,000 albums to be shipped to Europe. Chris will be taking a tour overseas this spring. Chris' first sell-oalbum, "Cowboys Aint Easy to Love" took him from the rodeo arenas to some of the top entertainment spots of the world. Doug is a graduate of Roy High School and was active in drama and music, as well as at Utah State University where he earned a bachelor degree and of Ohio University where he received a Master of Fine Arts degree. He has performed at the Arena Stage in Washington D.C., the Jekyll Island Music Theater, the Lyric Repertory Company and the Ohio Valley Summer theater. He will have roles this season with the Asolo theater in The Shadow Box, Volpone, Long Days Stag Journey Into Night, At Bay, and The Cherry ' Orchard. . ..
