The resolution is as follows: Roy City, Utah Sept. 16, 1971 The City Council of Roy City, Weber County, Utah met in regular session at its regular meeting place in said City at 6:00 oclock p.m. on September 16, 1971, with the following members of the City Council RESOLUTION NO. 500 resolution providing for the holding of a special bond ejection to be held in conjunction with the general municipal election on November 2, 1971, for the purpose of submitting to the qualified electors of Roy City, Weber County, Utah the question of the issuance of General Obligation $700,000 Recreation Bonds of said City. Wayne Kimber, City Man- WHEREAS, Roy City desires to construct recreational facilities, including without limitation, swimming pool, athletic and play facilities and recreational facilities in said City; and WHEREAS, said City does not have on hand money to pay for such construction; and the City Council has determined to defray the cost thereof through the issuance of $700, 000 General Obligation Recreation ager Absent: After the meeting had been called to order and the minutes of the preceding meeting read and approved, the following resolution was introduced in writing, read in full, and pursuant to motion duly made by Councilman Dennis Chugg, and seconded by Councilman duly bonds; and WHEREAS, it is desired to submit such proposition con cerning the issuance of such bonds to the vote of the qualified electors of Roy City, pursuant to the provisions of the Utah Municipal Bond Act. NOW THEREFORE, ing general circulation in Roy City, Utah and qualified to carry legal notices under the laws of the State of Utah. Such notice shall be in substantially the following form: Be It Resolved by the City Council of Roy City, Weber County, Utah as follows: Section 1. On the 2nd day of November, 1971, in conjunction with the general municipal election, there shall be held in said City, a special election between the hours of 7:00 oclock a.m., and 8:00 oclock p.m., at which time there shall be submitted to the qualified electors of said City the proposition in the form of ballot set out in Section 4 here- The polls shall be open between the hours of 7.00 oclock a.m. and 8:00 oclock p m. There is to be no special registration of voters for such election and the official register last made or revised shall constitute the register for such election, except that the County Clerk of Weber County will ELECTION NOTICE TO ALL QUALIFIED ELECTORS OF ROY CITY, WEBER COUNTY, UTAH Take notice that on the 2nd day of November, 1971, an election will be held in Roy City, Weber County, Utah, at the places set out below for the purpose of submitting to the register at his office during the regular office hours, except Saturdays, Sundays, and holiy days and except during the pe-iimmediately preceding the bond election, any person who on the day of election will be a qualified elector and will register such persons as provided by law. The County Clerk will make available or will cause the registration agents to make available at the polling place a registration list or copy thereof listing all registered electors entitled to use such voting place. Notice is further given that ten-da- PROPOSITION Section 2. The voting places for said election and the officials who are hereby appointed to serve at such voting places shall be the same as those voting places and election officials who are appointed to serve at the general municipal election and shall be as specified in the firm of Notice of Election set out in Section 3 hereof. Said officials are qualified electors of said City. Section 3. There is to be no special registration of voters for such election and the official register last made or revised shall constitute the register for such election, except that the County Clerk of Weber County will register at his office during the regular office hours, except Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays and except during the y period immediately preceding the bond election, and any person who on the day of the election will be a qualified elector and will register such persons as provided by law.
