If you want to see Bugsy in person, along with all of his pals from Chicago in the 1930s, then plan to catch their act at the Fredonia Elementary School. With commands and menus, computer skills are attainable for young and old alike. Mohave Community College is committed to meeting the educational needs in the communities we serve, and computer training is in high demand. In recent years, MCC has seen an increase in students over the age of 25, many of whom are interested in computer courses. This summer, MCC will offer several workshops during the day for all who wants to expand their computer knowledge. At the Fredonia Center, it student will be able to take courses in Internet use and digital photography. The Internet course will consist of online computer activities from research to purchasing to fun and games. With the digital images course, students will become comfortable downloading pictures from a camera or scanning. They will also explore a variety of editing and printing options. At the Colorado City Campus, students will have the opportunity to refresh their Microsoft Office Suite skills with it courses in Word, Excel and Access. These courses are scheduled for one afternoon per week for five weeks. The tuition is just $38 per credit. Because ofthe short-terand small fee, these courses are extremely popular in the area.
