GRAND FINALE: The Milford Elementary Sixth Grade put on a talent show last Friday morning. On Friday evening they went to Logan where Nancys sister and her husband Rodney and Tara Hobbs went through the Temple. Pat Daws, Mable Turner and Brenda Setters went to Salt Lake on Amtrak last Wednesday. They enjoyed seeing Alva and Jerri Kirks new home, visiting Connie Kirk and family, seeing the lights at Temple Square mil doing some shopping. CHRISTMAS J87-26- 72 Beta Upsilon held their regular meeting last Wednesday, December 5th at the home of Randee Mellor. Main topic of discussion was the drawing for the nativity set and filling the stockings for the old folks. Mrs. Douglas Many Milford residents attended the funeral of former Milford resident Bob Schramm . Bob used to run Puffers Lake Resort. The funeral was held in Beaver. Atkin enjoyed a trip to Las Vegas recently to visit with her sister Sallie Chaffin. Todd Atkin is in Washington for three weeks for National Guard Camp. Mr. and Mrs. Russell Spradin from Ely recently visited with Mildred Lover idge. Suzann Helda Clark recently celebrated her 9th birthday. She had eight of her friends for a slumber party at her home. Attending were: Brandie Barnes, Kimberly Rose, Shan Holm, Jerilyn Mayer, Kerri Card of Thanks Stacey Smith, Cynthia Maxey, Thompson and Brandy Ludi. Many Christmas parties are being held as Christmas draws nearer. On Saturday the First Interstate Bank held their party at the Station Restaurant and the VFW had their Christmas party at the Senior Citizen Hall. We understand there are a number of new students moving Into the area . and attending Milford Elementary School. Milford High School will sponsor a Youth Basketball Program for both boys and girls in grades 5,6,7, and 8 beginning in January, according to Principal LeePettey.
