On Sunday the family drove to Cedar City to attendSacrament meeting and the Testimonial farewell of Arthurs grandson who will be going toBrazll on a mission for the IDS Church. Tony Jessup, son of Bishop and Rita Jessup, was honored at a Missionary Testimonial at Sacrament Meeting at the Greenville Ward Sunday. The Jessup family presented the program. A large crowd was In attendance to honor Tony. He will enter the Mission borne May 3, at Provo. Family members who were home for the weekend were: Velate, a sister from Provo; a sister, Nita, her husband and family, from Moab; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frankum of Payson. A family dinner after the meeting was held at the family home and was enjoyed by all. The Ward Primary held their lesson at the monthly Ward building on Thursday. On Monday Nolan was scheduled for back surgery. The children are In the care of Nina Davis In Adams -ville. A Birthday supper was given In honor of Margaret Barton the past week by her daughters, Dana Kaye Steorts and Peggy Kerksick. All the family members were there to wish her a Happy Birthday. Annette Shopherd and five children of Cedar City spent Saturday visiting her mother Bessie Edwards and other family members. Mr. and Mrs.KennethSpendlelove of Cedar City visited Clyde and Ila Murdock the past week. Phylls and Frank Myers are back from Phoenix, Arizona after spending most of the winter there. Cullen and Cliff Williams and Frank Myers spent a couple of days away from home this week enjoying some fishing. Last week, Afton Kesler and Bessie Edwards drove to Cedar City where they picked up Annette Shepherd and two children, then went on to St. George. The children stayed with some friends while the ladies attended a session at the Temple.
