Show NUIFORD IN MOTION aMv, CALL The Milford High School Drama department brought home the second place trophy from the Kanab Drama Invitational Meet on Monday March 12 for their portrayal of scenes from the musical You're a Good Man Charlie Brown". Those participating in the winning scene were: Lea Gonzalez as Lucy, Tam my Gonzalez as Patty, Kenneth Bradshaw as Linus, and John Easton as Schroe-de- r. Johann Meyer, drama coach indicated that the drama group is now preparing for the regional drama meet in Provo, the state meet in Ogden, and the Tournament of Champions in Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Myers have returned from Southern where they visited a California daughter and her family. Mr. and Mrs. Lovell Crane spent the weekend in Las Vegas visiting with their son Robert and family. Enjoying a double birthday party Friday, March 9 were Kerri Maxey and Malina Mellor. Kerri's birthday is Wednesday, March 14, and Malinas was February 23. The evening started out at Kerri's house Bu 387-28- 81 where pizza was served. After, the party moved to Malina's where presents were opened, cake and ice cream enioved. movies watched and sleep attempted. While there they went shopping and out to dinner. The highlight of the weekend was meetingbrother Kevin, SStatioisEra his wife Debbie and their children Jack and Callie, and brother Brian, his wife Sharalyn and kids Briar, Brooke and Natalie and all going to see Walt Disneys Ice Fantasy at the Salt Palace. Kathy reports the weather was really nice, even though it was a bit foggy. Recent visitors at the home of Herb and Betty Coon were Bettys daughter Leanne George and her children Breezy and Callie from Centerville, Utah. Traveling to Salt Lake City this past weekend was Janet Coon. She went up with Marybelle Eyre of Minersville to visit Marybelles daughter Lori Rasmussen. While there the three, Janet, Marybelle and Lori, drove out to Wendover to spend the day. A number of people from Milford traveled to Orem this past weekend to enjoy a StateRegional Freestyle Wrestling Tournament held at the Vicki Carter high school there. reports that the tournament was really different from the ones down here and there were boys and men of all ages Kindergarten to college or older participating. Some of the boys from Milford who wrestled were: Jason Carter 13, son of John and Vicki Carter; Robbie Romine, son of Bill and Donna Romine; Brandon and Monty Griffiths, sons of George and Madeline Griffiths; Duane Cook, son of Bernice Cook and Scott Cook; Joel and Justin Durham, sons of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Durham. Jason Carter won a second place medal in the 105 pound weight bracket. Other winners included Brandon Griffiths, who took first in his weight division and Monty Griffiths who took second in his.
