Show 4 6 1984 Page Thursday, March 15, LAND FEDERAL BANK STOCKHOLDERS MEET IN RICHFIELD MONDAY, March 19 Pre Kindergarten registration will be held on Thursday, March 15 In the Parowan Elementary school gym from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Children who will be five years old on or before September 1, 1984 are eligible to register for the 1984-8- 5 school year. Parents should bring the child, along with a certified birth certificate and immunization record for the child. Applications for a legal birth certificate can be obtained from the Public Health Office in Cedar City. A speech and hearing screening assessment will be available during the registration. If you are unable to register your child on March 15, contact the secretary at the Parowan Elementary by call3. ing An immunization clinic of the Public Health department will be held at the Parowan Elementary School on Tuesday, March 20 from 1:30 - 3 p.m. Congratulations to the Parowan Rammettes for their Fourth place finish in the State Marching competition in Orem. A new Primary Presidency was recently sustained in Summit Ward. Vergeania Davenport will serve as President, with Edith Lawrence and Connie Whicker as counselors. A -- 477-351- Little Camille Gurr, daughter of Brian and Myra Gurr, was blessed in Parowan Second Ward on the first Sunday of March. Special visitors for the occasion were Kendall and Rose Elise Gurr, Tom Gurr, Diane and Rulon Hardy and baby. Other friends and relatives were there, too, I'm sure. Brian, Myra and four children traveled this weekend to Huntsville, Utah to visit Myras family. Her brother just returned home from an mission. Steve and Celeste Johnson and Sasha recently moved to the St. George area, where Steve has em -ployment with Albertson's. Vivian Mitchell has been traveling to and from St. George to visit with her father, who recently returned home from the hospital. Norda Barton went out to Tona-pa- h, Nevada with husband Bill and son Roy to spend a week. I saw Earl Matheson out and around the other day. He says he is feeling quite well and he is looking good. Chuck and DianaHarris welcomed daughter number four to their family on Valentines Day. Little Alisha Ilene was born in Cedar City. Judge Lewis Tervort convicted two Richfield men of killing one calf and two cow elk on the Fishlake National Forest last October. One man was fined $3000 for the offense, the other $2000. Both men received jail sentences of one year. el The Court also confiscated the drive truck and rifle used by the poachers. Restitution costs that could approach another $3000 will be the case is when considered reviewed in two months.
