Kurt said he spent nearly all of his time In the small towns surrounding Frankfurt. It took him six months to learn the language but he was' still learning some German phrases until the day he left. I remember years ago they used to send missionaries by boat but today they fly by Jet. It must have been very thrilling to leave Germany and fly to New York In seven hours, only to spend another eight hours getting to Salt Lake from New York. I always thought the United States was smaller than the Atlantic Ocean! Kurt is planning to attend Snow College to brush up on his studies, then to the BYU to major in medical research.
