Central Schools students designed the bulletin board and wrote the letters about their choices for good traits. Bulletin board design offers object lesson for Christmas Students at Central Elementary School have come up with a novel idea in their requests for Christmas gifts and the proof can be seen on the bulletin board at the Uintah School District office board room. that haven't changed over WINTER SPORTS the years are things like snowball smashing. A doctor with a Virginia medical college reports that THC exposed guinea pigs experienced a more rapid onset of the disease, marked by a greater number of lesions, shedding of greater quantities of virus, and longer duration. All of the animals that died revealed virus in the brain. THC enhances virus replication in the infected host and suppresses early components of host resistance, according to the most up to date study. These results suggest that marijuana use, either immediately prior to exposure of the virus, or at the time of exposure, exacerbates genital herpes and enhances passage of the virus to the central nervous system. The possible parallel with susceptibility to the AIDS virus is a high priority in research. Already reports that inhalation of volatile nitrates (poppers, rush, locker room, and the immune others) depresses system and correlates with the development of Kaposis sarcoma and suggests that the possible relationdrugs ship of AIDS and was prematurely dismissed by researchers. A more extensive report of these findings has recently been published in the American Journal of Medicine. These facts are even more alarming when one realizes that in recent months, Hollywood stars, Goldie Hawn, Jane Fonda, Dolly Parton, Lily Tomlin and JoBeth Williams have been shown smoking marijuana in millions of American homes. This has been done on television in motion picture hits like, Private Nine to Five, and Benjamin, Poltergeist during prime time viewing hours. Surrounding the sleigh are letters of request to Santa asking for a gift of one of these good traits. Each of the students letters is centered in a frilly paper snowflake. The border around the display is a print out computer art design of a stocking full of toys colored by the children. The district staff said they appreciate all of the work and imagination that goes into the designs for the bulletin board and enjoy the addition of the art work to the board room. Sixty major films made in the past five years were pinpointed that showed marijuana smoking, drug use and sexual freedom as acceptable socializing. Some of these movies won academy awards. A number of these movies were aimed at the youth market and many contain jokes about drug use. People are asking why youth should become subject to physical damage or death just to mimic a movie or a sports idol or a glamorized idea attached to socialized drugs. Producers of these movies and television programs say they are not getting any strong signals from parents concerning their attitudes toward these things being depicted on the screen.
