The line burst at 3500 West 3500 North leaving a large hole. When workers dug to the line, the area around the hole in the line was paper thin, requiring a collar to be placed around the line. f! Derek W. Cross, 19, was placed on 18 months probation by 7th District Court Judge Richard C. Davidson, after pleading guilty to burglary charges. Judge Davidson suspended a prison sentence for Cross and placed him on 18 months probation. Cross will be serving his probation in California. The charges against Cross stem from an incident that occurred last April. He pleaded guilty to the charges in City... Additional enforcement of at least 50 extra troopers will be made on that day. Strong enforcement emphasis will continue during the holiday season. This activity will kick off the Drunk and Drugged Driver Awareness Dec. This is a national commemoration as well as gpe officially proclaimed by Governor Norman Bangerter. When the pair returns in March, they will be sentenced. City Councilman Leonard Heeney said he agreed with the over-ru- n on the initial repair job, but he did not believe the city should pay the cost of the new crank shaft, including installation, $11,000. The city agreed to pay the additional repair on the tractor, but only $3,600 on the second repair. November. As part of the terms of his probation Cross must complete his high school education or obtain a GED. Cross was released from the Uintah County Jail where he was serving time for charges unrelated to the burglary. Christine Lee Starkey Mason, 19, appeared before Judge Davidson for sentencing of third degree felony charges of aggravated assault. She pleaded guilty to the reduced charges last summer. Prior to being sentenced on the charges, Mason completed a y diagnostic evaluation. Judge Davidson suspended a prison term for Mason and placed her on two years probation. Mason will be required to complete any counseling programs recommended by Adult Probation and Parole (AP&P). Judge Davidson 789-121- |
