This will be Kochanskis third visit to the Basin in as many years. Because of his flexibility on the piano, he is popular with young audiences as well as more sophisticated listeners. He not only performs works from the classical composers, is but for known adding embellishments of favorite tunes that may include folk and popular selections. Kochanski has been a guest on major radio and television programs including Voice of America, Good Morning America, Hour Magazine and the 700 Club. Computer and business classes at new location , I i I Huffaker and Burk marry in rites at Elks Lodge Chad Huffaker and Ginger Burk became man and wife as they exchanged vows Aug. 3 in the Vernal Elks Lodge. The grooms parents are Donald Huffaker of Salt Lake City and Doris Huffaker of Grand Junction, Colo. Ginger is the daughter of Robert and Louella Burk of Vernal. A reception honoring the couple followed the wedding ceremony at the same location. The bride wore a floor length gown with leg of mutton sleeves ending in sheer tulle to the wrists. The skirt ended in a long chapel train trimmed with lace. Lavender bows added interest to the trim on the gown. Her veil was of sheer tulle falling from a crown of flowers. Attending the bride were: Veanna Bridges, matron of honor; Kelly Marshall and Kerry Cady, brides maids; Amanda Bartels, flower girl; Tonya Hunting, train carrier; and Daniel Bartels, ring bearer. The attendants were attired in formal length off the shoulder dresses in lavender. Mother of the bride wore a lavender gown with short sleeves while the groom's mother chose a blue long sleeved dress. mid-lengt- h The groom's white tuxedo with blue ruffled shirt contrasted the brides attire. Acting as groomsmen were Earl Bridges, Eric Hunting and Mare Abplanalp. Others who assisted with the wedding were Kirsty Himes at the guest book and Sue Jackson and Marsha Jackson handled the gifts. A bridal shower was given by Veanna Bridges. Vera Van Leuven and Evelyn Hacking of Vernal joined other members of their family who flew to Vancouver, Wash, and boarded a ship for an Alaskan cruise and tour. Joining them on the Italian cruise ship, Daphne were Wanda and Howard Wasden of Las Vegas, Theora Whetten of Storr, Conn, and Dwayne Johnson and lone Simpson of Salt Lake City According to Van Leuven, the cruise includes stops at several cities for tours on shore. In Vancouver, there is anticipation building for the 86 Expo, which added to the excitement of the tour, she said. The group toured Wrangell Island which was settled by the Russians in 1811. The island was later leased to Hudson Bay Company. In Jueneau, Alaska, a visit at the great glaciers near the city was a tour highlight gold fields.
