THE telegraphers STRIKE men refuse to end F desp te ad v ce of the r president new york new york local ot the telegraphers union on sunday voted unanimously to continue the strike against the western union and postal telegraph com the vote was taken upon the sug of president small who in messages to subordinate officers point ed out the inability of tl e general as to further finance the strike and requested that the locals in the various cities vote upon the ity of the men returning to work the meeting was characterized by bitter exchanges between president Pies ident small and the other speakers the latter charged the national leader with inconsistency in first claiming that the strike would be successfully success filly financed and later admitting aba the general assembly was without funds and alth having conducted the fight in a halfhearted dilatory man ner small replied trying to explain his position but was interrupted by hisses hen he suddenly left the hall in the midst of the speech mak ing cries of besign followed him the men in a number of other of the larger cities also voted to continue the strike
