KILLED DEER dr J ferguson of Cast ledale treated his Cast ledale friends to some fine enison on monday on thui day last accompanied by mrs furguson he armed h myself with a rifle and 40 rounds of ammunition and hied him self to the san roufael anve stopping with mr hani s on tidwells bottoms while trailing the first footprints of deer on friday afternoon he surprised a couple of beautiful bucks about three miles mouths est of tidwell s up a and rough binyon from his position it wa impossible to get a shot at them at tl at time but after an hour s maneuvering he again got s of them and at th s time sent a bullet that struck them both wound ng one and breaking the other s leg another shot killed one but it requested considerable skirmishing be i fore the other one was brought down mr ferguson had the elder mr agnf aith bring the game to town sunday when photos were made of it before it was cut up and parceled out to friends the bucks were fins big ones with nice horns the photos will be sent back to the doctor s eastern friends
