There is probably no better way to experience the real meaning of Christmas than through a childs imagination. What Christmas Means to Me is the theme of a childrens art contest sponsored by Bountifuls Lakeview Hospital. The contest is being held in conjunction with the hospitals Christmas name, grade and school should be written on the front of the draw- ac- tivities. Art work is being accepted from elementary school children--grade- s 6. The Lakeview Hospital public relations department should receive all entries by 6 p.m. on Tue., Dec. 4, 1984. Entries should be the sole work of the child submitting the drawing. The childs ing. All artwork should be submitinch or ted on standard art paper. Applications Accepted Santa Program Under Way FARMINGTON Applications for Christmas assistance through the Sponsors for Santa program in Davis County will be accepted Nov. 26 until Dec. 14 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in room 223 of the Courthouse in Farmind gton, according to Jennifer of the Department of Human Services. Applicants should bring clothing sizes of their children. The program is set up to assist families that have small children. Last year the program helped more than 1,396 individuals have a nicer Christmas, 738 of whom were children. Hay-goo- Haygood said. Many of the schools in the county sponsor families as do other community organizations. Volunteers are also needed to sort and display donated items.
