JIM NIX Clearfield Center Greets Director CAROL GRAHAM as a qualified and caring individual, and moved him around to Review Correspondent CLEARFIELD Jim Nix became the new administrator of the Clearfield Convalescent Center in replacing Euhad been Hamilton who gene the differnet centers doing vari- ous jobs. His first taste of management came when he was assigned to mid-Januar- y, Pleasant with the center since its beginning seven years ago. Nix moved to Utah in 1981, leaving his home in Alabama to finish his education in business Grove Convalescent Center last year. When Hamilton took a position at the Bountiful facility, Nix was chosen to become administrator in Clearfield. This is a real personal challenge for me, Nix commented. I am pleased to be here and working in this area. I enjoy the people and I wish more people could see what I feel in working with the elderly. Nix has already set goals to increase public awareness and com- administration at Weber State College. He started working at Mount Ogden Convalescent Center doing maintenance, while working on his Bachelor of Science degree, intending to work in nursing home administration. I enjoy working with the elderly and caring for them and have had good working experiences in the facilities in the area, he said. The administrators of Care Enterprises, which owns and operates the Clearfield and Mount Ogden facilities as well as several others in the area, recognized Nix with the munity involvement Clearfield Center and has plans for a new public relations program.
