He has attended Brigham Young University, Weber State, and College of Voigt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Voigt, Kaysville; and Billy Cunningham, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ron Cunningham, Layton, were among the children who helped collect can openers for needy families. They were assisted by the church's educational director, Sarah Voigt. cers and some 20 dramatic roles. Also there are several vocal soloists, small ensembles and an orchestra of 15 to 20 people. The Chorale will perform 25 popular patriotic pieces throughout the course of the show. Characters such as Abraham Lincoln, Julie Ward Howe, Christopher Columbus, Benjamin Franklin, Joseph Smith and others will be portrayed in the Mexico. Finding a new way to reach out and help those in need isnt always easy but the children from the Layton Community Church did just that by collecting can openers to give to the needy.
