Gabriel Rampa Welty Warren C. Welty, 80, formerly of Paonia, Colo., died May 12, 1982 in Carbon County Nursing Home. He was born May 15, 1901 in Maryland to Jacob and Sadie Litz Welty. He married Mae McDowell in February 1920. She died June 18, 1952. He was a retired coal miner and former employee of U.S. Steels Columbia mines. He was a member of United Mine Workers of America Columbia Local No. 8003 (1206). He was also a member of Oddfellow Iodge in Paonia, Colo.
