CASE Janet Jan Oliveto is very involved in the community. She is currently serving as the Price City Library Board chairman, on Carbon Cancer Unit Board as public information chairman, a member of the financial boaird of trustees for Notre Daxne Regional School and was on the International Days G'rand Parade committee. She sierves on the state Library LS CA Advisory Council dealing with library services and construction grant monies. Oliveto was director of communications and community relations on the' executive staff for the Utah Girl Scout Council, working 16 years throughout the state. In February 1987 she accepted the position of development director with Notre Dame School, where she works with grants and coordinating fundraising programs. While a Star and Life Scout, he served as the Badger Patrol Leader. He currently is the troop treasurer. Ryan attends Notre Dame School and is in the grade. His parents are eighth Leland and Marian Jonas. In May he completed ibis Order of the Arrow Ordeal at Bristlecone Camp. In June he attended the Timberline boy leaders training camp at Trimmed Bristlecone Camp. Historical Society sets meeting There will be a meeting of the Carbon County Historical Society on Tuesday, Oct. 10 at 6 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Helper Museum, and the program will be the dedication of a monument depicting local mine disasters.
