Show Voting is one of the most sacred rights we as Americans epjoy. Voting is our way of expressing our desire of whom our leaders will be and what laws will govern us. Utahns, over the years, have enjoyed one of the highest voter turnouts of any state in our nation. I am very proud of our record. It is a tribute to our heritage and our character. However, in order to vote you must be registered. have listed below the simple ways of registering to vote in Utah. 1 If you are not registered, please do so today. If you are registered, please make sure you vote on November 4. Lets keep up a great tradition. Thank you, W. Val Oveson Lieutenant Governor HOW TO REGISTER TO VOTE If you will be 18 or over and will have been a resident of the State of Utah for 30 days in November, you may register to vote by one of the following methods. preceding the election You may register with the registration agent of your election district between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. on October 28, 29, and 30. You may register at the County Clerk's office in your county during regular working hours up to 20 days preceding the November election day. You may register by mail at any time prior to 20 days before the November election day by mailing in the Utah Election registration form. These forms may be obtained at any bank, post office, library, or political party office. |
