Thirteen miles were finished in 1985 and the final thirteen miles are scheduled to be constructed and paved in late 1986 and 1987. The short 1.2 mile spur road to Murphy Point was deleted from the project to allow time to research the requirements of Bighorn Sheep utilizing access to the mesa top at Murphy Point.
