Representatives of the Bureau of the Census will visit about 470 houses in the Salt Lake area each month through December as part of the American Housing Survey according to William F. Adams, director of the bureaus regional office in Denver. when the survey is completed, interviewers will have visited about 3,750 housing units. Census The Bureau and Department of Housing and Urban Development planned the to current obtain survey information on housing, one of the nations key economic indicators. The agencies will issue a report for each metropolitan area surveyed about 15 months after the interviews are completed.
