The Cavemen open the scoring with a run in the bottom of the opening frame. But Kearns tied it up with a run in the third, Dusty Moody netting an rbi single. Kearns had the bases loaded in the sixth, but said Coach Hatch, "we just couldnt bring them home." Kearns had six hits, two by Moody, while American Fork had 11. The Cougars committed two error, while the Cavemen w'ent without a miscue. In wrapping up the season, Hatch paid tribute to both Clark and Moody, who labled as dependable seniors, senior pitcher Veazie and sophomore hurler Fernandez.
