Rhea Jean Sadler-Orto- n has been appointed manager of the Magna Senior Citizen Center here, according to a spokesman for the County Division of Aging. A native of Magna, Mrs. Orton graduated from Cyprus high in 1944. The wife of Lee Orton, she is the mother of two children and stepmother of four, she is acquainted with people in the area, as well as being proficient in crafts and management. Mrs. Orton resided in Tooele for 20 years before returning to this area to live. She was involved in the first pickup camper business in the United States, where she did the interior decorating for the campers. In addition she worked for Magic Chemical for 15 years as secretary-managand has sold her handicrafts through area boutiques the past several years. As one of her goals for the center, Mrs. Orton said she would like to increase participation in the 60 and older group. I want everyone to feel welcome to come to the center regardless of their race, color or creed, she said. We have a great many activities that appeal to members of both sexes. n being 4.' 'pqitrtf?? Getting To Know You Is the theme of a mother and daughter activity to be held at 6:30 p.m. tomorrow (Friday) at the Taylorsville North stake center. A program will be presented portraying the theme, with several wards participating.
