Karen Redman, a graduate of Purdue and the University of Iowa, will teach the class there. She has had considerable TAYLORSVILLE. A new evening class, Introduction to Parenting, is to be taught through the School of Continuing Education here at Utah Technical College during spring quarter. The class is being offered at both the main campus, 4600 So. Redwood Road, and the Sandy campus at a cost of $102. It provides three quarter credit hours. The class covers such things as becoming a parent, a healthy pregnancy, the infant, developmental principles, the toddler, the preschooler, the middle years of childhood and the adolescent. The class on the Redwood Road campus will be held Tuesdays, to 7:30 al teaching and ministrative experience, including being a member of the board of directors of Community Coordinated Child Care in Iowa City. The Sandy campus (9460 So. Union Square) will be holding its parenting sessions from 7:45 to 10 p.m. on Thursdays, starting march 27. Brenda Powers, an elementary teacher at Willow Canyon school in the Jordan district, will lead those class periods.
