Military Academy at West Point, according to an announcement by Congressman Howard Nielson. The youth is the son of Marcia E. Wingert and Lawrence J. Wingert of Taylorsville, and the late Major William A. OBrien. He will enter the academy in July. A consistent honor roll student, young O'Brien was awarded the outstanding scholar of the year eight times while attending Southside Christian School in Idaho and was chosen the outstanding law student for 1983-8along with various other awards at Taylorsville.
