Show THE GREEN SHEET 9 For Opening Activities MHS Thursday, August 2, 1984 - Leaders Select Theme MURRAY. Hollywood Daze will serve as the theme for the first week of school at Murray high. Classes will begin at the high school on Tuesday, Sept. 4. An assembly will be held on Sept. 7, and a stomp is planned for that night beginning at 8. Performing at the assembly will be the MHS cheerleaders and Booster club. Skits will be presented by student body and class officers. Royalty will be selected from the sophomore, junior and senior classes. They will be titled, Hollywood Knights and their Leading Ladies. Students attending the Friday night stomp will be asked to be dressed as their favorite movie star. Student body officers include Ryan Young, president; Jaren Cooper, vice Kris president; Dykman, secretary; Melissa Hatcher, activities chairman; Ken Kurtz, historian. Senior class officers are Mike Josie, president; Danny Baird, vice president; Staci Hollingsworth, secretary. The senior representative is Jenny Hawkins. Serving as senior class senators are Natalie Carpenter, Heidi Davis, Heidi Fishio, Audrey Holman and Michelle Johnson. Junior class officers include John Weston, president; Tim Blackham, vice president; Michl Archibald, secretary; Junior representative is Harvey Franco. Prom chairman is Vicki Farrer. Junior class senators include Bonnie Barlow, Katie Luntz, Sharee Smith, Angie Oliver and Leslie Remy. Registration dates for the high school will be Aug. 20 for seniors, and 22nd for 21st for juniors sophomores. Aug. 23 will be registration day for any new students planning to attend the high school. The Murray high football team will be in action on Friday, Aug. 31 hosting the Taylorsville Warriors at 4 p.m. Head Coach Dale Pehrson encouraged all Murray high students and area residents to attend the first e game to support the team.
