Of that total, 47 were boys, 28 were girls. Six of the infants arrived at Cottonwood Hospital Medical Center, 24 at St. Marks and 10 at Valley West. The remainder were delivered at other hospitals in the Salt Lake area. Babies were welcomed by the following area families: COTTONWOOD HOSPITAL Girl. Randall W. Barry Richards, a former counselor at Kearns high who served as assistant principal the past two years at Central junior high, has returned to Kearns high as assistant principal. A Salt Lake native, Richards is a graduate of Highland high. He attended Mesa College in Grand Junction, Colo., served an LDS mission in Great Britain, then attended the University of Utah where he received bachelors and masters degrees.
