Show 'Pirates Of Penzance' tke Pmuitda Popular Operetta Playing At PVP SALT LAKE. The tradition of presenting Gilbert and Sullivan productions is continuing this month at Promised Valley Playhouse. This years production is The Pirates of Penzance, which is currently popular on Broadway and in road show tours and is being made into a movie to be released during the 1983 Christmas season. Promised Valleys production opened Thursday and will continue Tuesdays through Saturdays until Jan. 29. Curtain time is 8 p.m. and tickets are available at the box office from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays. This marks the second time the show has been presented at PVP. Bryan Boweles is directing. Cliff Davis designed the sets and Fred Latham the costumes.
