Several are actually working in shops or companies using the skills they are learning in the class. Mr. Clark spent nine years at Granite high in graphics and taught labs at BYU. He feels that whether or not his students go on into graphics after leaving Taylorsville, he wants them to understand the principles involved. His advanced students learn the process from beginning to end, of ordering, doing the running, sitting down with people to make decisions on just what they want, picking up the paper, taking care of the bills. The hands-oexperiences given students, he feels, should prove beneficial to them whether or not they choose to a career in graphics after leaving high school. Next years enrollment in graphics is expected to be increased, perhaps even double, Mr. Clark tomorrow.
