There is a constant increase in the percentage of students that come from homes or broken families, thus requiring additional attention. There is broad variation in the quality and effectiveness of teachers and we havent developed a way of evaluating them. The rapid growth in the state that we are anticipating will not only bring new problems, but more of the old ones. It will also bring the demand for thousands of skilled and workers. It is imperative that we face these problems with some sound, workable solutions, and the sooner we start, the better.
