For the most part, these snacks were candy, and therefore had an extremely high sugar content,’’ she said. “We participated in the initial community movement to change the existing situation. While we cannot claim Club Notes total credit for improvements that have been made, we ate proud to have an active supporting role.” The item-by-item selection varies from school to school but in the same Schools today, students have the option of selecting many more healtiiful, noncandy items than before. “Tt pred ee said, tag in the near future, presence of vending machines in a school would disqualify that school or district from receiving federalfunding for its lunch program.” The a concentrates its main efforts on elementary s. . “We have found thatthe ‘Dental I.Q.’ of this area is such,” she said, “‘that the teachers themselves, in most cases, are doing an excellentjob of teaching dental health.” Executive Women Hear Communications Program By Teacher and Author LOYAL STAR Dr. Paul Timm,of the Brigham Young University Education and Administrative Management DepartWill meet at the home ment, presented the program to Executive Women of Alice Snow, 795 W.
