FLINT Mrs. Delila Stoker Flint will be observing her 80th birthday anniversary on Wednesday, May 16 at her home here. MRS. FLINT was born May 16, 1899 in Bountiful. She was the daughter of David Stoker Jr. and Emma Lousia Stahle Stoker, early Bountiful settlers. She moved with her family to Syracuse (what is now Clearfield), when she was one year of age. Her early schooling was in the north Davis County schools. SHE WAS married to Charles B. Flint in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on June 25, 1919. The couple resided for a number of years in Kaysville before moving to Layton, where she still makes her home. Mr. Flint died on June 12, 1969. Mrs. Flint has spent a lifetime of service in auxiliaries of the Latter-da- y Saint Church. She filled a two year mission for the church in California and later spent two years serving on a Stake Mission in 1947 and 1948. SHE SERVED as president Suggested contribution is $1.25 per plate. A program will follow the dinner and door prizes will be given to some of the paid up members. Circles Date Announcement of theen-gagemeand forthcoming marriage of Ruth F. Miller to Dale R. Dillon was made by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John C. Miller, 1456 Nicholls nt Fruit Road, Heights. MR. DILLON is the son of Mrs. Veda Dillon of Lewiston, Ida. The wedding will be held at 7:30 p.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church on June 8 with the reception following' at the home of the parents. George (Charlene) Marchant, Smithville, Utah. SHE ALSO boasts of 32 grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren. Mrs. Flint enjoys writing in THE BRIDE-elec- t is a graduate of Davis High School and is presently attending the University of Utah. The future groom graduated from Lewiston High School in Lewiston, Ida. He attended the University of Idaho in Moscow, Ida. He is presently employed by Nate Wade Subaru Dealers in Salt Lake her diary and has a beautifully kept journal of her lifes accomplishments. She enjoys crocheting and gardening and has always had beautiful flowers and vegetable gar- dens all of her life. THE FAMILY members will honor their mother with a dinner party on Friday, May 18, at the Mansion House in Ogden. They are required to participate in the volunteer community service program United Teenager Pageant. The winner of the state finals will receive an all expense paid trip in December' to compete for the national finals, a three-phas- e pageant to be held in Washington, D.C., Hollywood; Calif.; and Honolulu, Hawaii. Jay Fisher, of the Davis County Vocational School, located just east of the Davis High School, addressed the Kaysville Rota 17 Club at its weekly meeting in the high school cafeteria.
