This was followed by a program with all of their and children many grandchildren participating. A BEAUTIFUL wedding , cake was made for them by their granddaughter, and they were both crowned with a jeweled crown and a lovely corsage was given to Mrs. Child. A This is Your Life Skit was presented by Mrs. Sheldon (Joan) Child, a Brad Weathers daughter-in-la- Mr. and Mrs. Child were married on June 4 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They have resided their entire life in Syracuse. They have three sons and one daughter. Dale Child, Layton; William H. (Bill) Child; Sheldon F. Child and Mrs. Keith (Helen) West all of Syracuse. MR AND MRS. BRADFORD T. JOHNSON THE COUPLE are active members of the Syracuse First LDS Ward and both were Karen Bean, Lisa Rose, Wiese, Sherry Thomley and Kristy Hansen. They wore yellow floral print gowns of polyester blend with Karla M. Strand, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert E. 2785 Strand, Oakhills Drive, Layton, became the bride of Korey L. Hansen in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on June 1. Arza A. Hinckley performed ablouson bodice, ruffled collar on an yellow roses and baby breath tied with yellow satin ribbon. THE BRIDES mother was dressed in a light yellow chif- THE GROOM is the son of Mr. and Mrs. R. Karl Hansen of Layton. A lace. Schiffile embroidery adored the yoke of the empire bodice. Bands of cluny lace also trimmed the bodice and back of the skirt. A chapel train completed the gown. She carried a tear-dro- p bouquet of white daisies, yellow rose buds and baby breath with yellow satin ribbon streamers. Kathleen Hardy was maid of honor and bridesmaids skirt. Each had a, nosegay of miniature the rites. wedding breakfast was held in their honor at the Print Shop hosted by the grooms parents. A reception that evening was given at the Layton LDS Stake Center. THE BRIDE wore a gown of organza and silky Venice fon gown with a blouson bodice on an skirt. The grooms mother chose a deeper shade of yellow quiana with a cowl neckline on an skirt. They wore corsages of white daisies, yellow roses and baby breath. Best man was Kerry Hansen, and ushers were Kenyon Hansen, Kelly Hansen, brothers of the groom, and Roger Strand. DUETS WERE sung by Kerry Hansen and Laurel Firth. Della Youngberg was at the organ. At the guest book was Patty Weeks. A-li- -- Prenuptial parties were given by Kathleen Hardy, Mrs. Walter Price, Donna Kearsley, Marcia Price, Pat Hansen, Mrs. Curtis Casper and Gloria Casper. THE BRIDE graduated from Ricks College. The groom attended Weber State College and fulfilled a LDS Mission to England. Out of state guests for the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Roger A. Strand and family of ' Supulveda, Calif. Roger is the son of Herbert E. Strand. AFTER A honeymoon to southern California, the couple will make their home in Layton. n Layton Births Cosette On Sunday, June 3, Thomas A. and Kathleen Smith Phillips of 1743 East Ponderosa, Layton became the parents of a baby boy. He will be named Kyle James Phillips. Excited oyer the arrival of a baby brother is Jeffery Thomas Phillips. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth J. Smith and Mrs. Ruth Phillips. The Laytons traveled to Southern California and enjoyed going to Disneyland and other Los Angeles area points of interest. After spending some time on the beaches they continued down the California coast to San Diego where they visited the famous San Diego Zoo. Leaving California, the Layton family traveled to Yuma and Mesa, Ariz. They visited with Mr. Laytons sister, Mrs. Lucille Giddings and her family and then they picked up Mr. Laytons mother, Mrs. Bessie Layton, who has been spending the winter with the Giddings family in Mesa. Mrs. Bessie Layton returned home with them. Mrs. Jay (Joan) Argyle and her children have returned to Layton to establish their home after living in Minneapolis this past year. Mr. Argyle will join his family after he completes his schooling at the Mayo Clinic later this month. Joan Argyle is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Harris.
