DREW IS a graduate of Davis High School add the LDS Seminary where he served on the Seminary Council. He was a Sterling Scholar in art his .senior year, and also received the outstanding artist award. He has attended Utah State University this past year. Sheffield arrived home from a Open House The family members of Mr. and Mrs. Vemell Swanger, T. Crestwood Rd., Kaysville, will honor their parents with an open house surprise party Saturday, July 21. The event will be held at the Kaysville 10th LDS Ward Cultural Hall, MRS. OWEN STOCKTON Repeat Y ows On June 30, 1979 Linda L. Kearsley became the bride of Owen William Stockton in rites performed in the Layton Utah Stake Center by Bishop David Price, uncle to the bride. LINDA IS a daughter of Donna Kearsley, 278 Francis Ave., Layton and Joseph E. Kearsley of Salt Lake City. Owen is the son of Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy N. Buhler, 1663 East Cherry Lane, East Lay-to- n. A wedding breakfast was held on June 29th in the back yard of the brides mothers home, with a reception on the day of the wedding in the Layton Stake Center. THE BRIDE chose a gown of chiffon over satin with an empire waist. It had a Venetian lace bodice with a heart shaped keyhole of English net; full puffy sleeves of chiffon with Veretian lace on the cuffs; a double row of Veretian lace circles the bottom. It featured a chapel length train. The bottom of the gown and bodice was accented with seed pearls and crystal beads. . ' She carried a cascading bbuquet of white, blue, yellow daisies and yellow roses. MAID OF honor wq$ JoAnn Kearsley. Bridesmajds were Lisa Norman, Merrill, Kristy Teresa Buhler, Kaylene Hansen, Brenda Buhler, Debbie Buhler and Debbie Poulsen. Flower girls were Kaylenn Hansen and Valerie Buhler. The maid of honor wore a blue and white gingham and dress, calf-lengt- h, carried a bouquet of blue, yellow, white daisies and yellow roses. The brides-xaqid- s were dressed in calf-leng- th yellow and white gingham dresses and carried bouquets of blue, yellow and white daisies. The flower girls wore short blue and white gingham dresses and carried baskets of blue, yellow and white daisies. were THE MOTHERS dressed in long light blue flowered dresses of organza. They wore corsages of blue, white and yellow daisies. Best man duties were performed by Wayne Anderson. Ushers were Terry Cong, Gene McDonald and R.J. Buhler.
