And ended rather dramatically at the USGF state championships in Salt Lake City. For a group of girls from Davis County, it could hardly have ended any better. f THE SALTOS gymnastic club found itself with a 1 record going into the two qualifying meets held last month. And in both of those competitions they won the unofli-eta- ! team title. But then one of their top gymnasts was sidelined with a sprained ankle, another vus ill with the Hu and 9-- the state meet was up for grabs. JOnly one of the live gnls competing for the SALTOS had ever done compulsory and beoptional (Class II) routines four, the Of remaining fore. one.
