In Ihe first preliminary event held in conjunction with the Daviv County 1 air, Diane Hooper was selected to reign as the Davis County Rodeo Queen, on July 12. AT THAT lime she was also serving as the first attendant to Ihe queen of the Ogden Pioneer Days celebration. Before long, the became a volunteer helper in the Hume Ant Department and now the tupcrvuct tome people in that important women' department of ihe Davit Couniy f air. A student at Roy High School, she is the first attendant for the IRS rodeo queen and is second attendant to the state high school rodeo queen. Miss Cox is currently con- encouraging her four sons - and 12 Appearing at the Davis County Fair for the first time this year, will be a group of 100 entertaining youngsters ranging in age from five to twelve years, known as The Young Uns. THEY WILL be presentd ing their program on Saturday, Aug. 23 at fast-pace- p.m. on the grassy area east of the fair office.
