Center St., Kaysville, honored their parents with a family dinner party at Little America Restaurant in Salt Lake City on Dec. 13. The event marked MR. AND MRS. KEITH MAJOR Kajrsville Couple United . were Mrs. Stephen Welling, Mrs. Douglas Welling and Miss Sharon Grosenbach. Their gowns were of old fashioned ecru styled with long sleeve blouses and high necklines with lace inserts. Their skirts were of bright red, green and blue with touches of red velvet ribbon enhancing the ecru lace insert in front. They held bouquets of holly, red roses, white carnations and baby breath. Taking her place among the December brides was the former Miss Elise Welling who traded nuptial vows with Lt. Richard Keith Mjor in an impressive ceremony in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on Dec. 2, 1980. Elder Henry D. Taylor, the brides uncle, performed the ceremony. THE BRIDE is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence E. Welling of Kaysvilie. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard B. Mrs. Clover Sanders is now at home convalescing from pneumonia. She had been in the DNMC for treatment. Holiday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Fisher was her brother, Mr. and Mrs. Don C. Carpenter and son of Lander, Wyo. ; a nephew, Mr. and Mrs. Sammy Carptenter of Anaheim, Calif. Rd., Kaysville. The prospective groom is the son of the couples golden wedding anniversary. THEY WERE married Dec. 12, 1930 in Ogden and later had their marriage solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Mr. King was employed at the Clearfield Naval Supply Depot and was retired from Hill AFB. He has been a farm owner in Kaysville for many years and an active member of the Kaysville 6th Ward, serving in many capacities in the ward. MRS. KING was the former Lucy Wallace of Clinton, Ut. They hav two children Glen C. King, Provo, and Aljoe K. Bauerle, Fruit Heights, Ut., and six grandchildren, vsb Mr. and Mrs. Calvin W. Woodcock of Thistle, Ut. Miss Humphreys graduated from Davis High School and Kaysville Seminary. She attended Utah State College and Weber State and is currently employed by BYU Development Office. HER FIANCE graduated from high school in Oklahoma. He attended Snow College and will graduate from Utah Technical College in Provo this year. He has filled an LDS mission in England. VA'A.A. FOLLETT Exchange V ows On Dec. 20, 1980, Peggy Lynn Follett became the bride of Jon Shaw Leinbach in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. PEGGY IS the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kyle W. Follett of Layton and Jon is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert R. Leinbach of Cocoa, Fla. A wedding breakfast was held in the Red Flame Restaurant in Bountiful, hosted by the grooms parents. A reception later that evening was held at the Colonial Home in Salt Lake City. PEGGY WORE her mother's wedding dress which was made by her grandmother. The bride refashioned the dress of tulle net over taffeta trimmed with appliqued lace and pearls on the collar, waist, sleeves and skirt. Lori Follett was the maid of honor with Janet Follett, Tori Vought and Roberta Zabriski as the bridesmaids. BEST MEN were Jim and Bill Leinbach with Kyle Wayne Follett and Bob Preston Blake and Steven Blake as ushers. Prenuptial parties were given bv Thelma Nielson, Carolyn Gifford and Linda Wheeler. THE BRIDE has attended BYU and Snow College. The groom is a graduate of BYU and has fulfilled an LDS mission to Chile. The groom graduated from Hayfield High School in Alexandria, Va. and USU in Logan with a degree in practical science.
