Leaving Hawaii they flew to Tokyo, Japan to meet their son Craig who was completed serving his LDS mission in Tokyo. They enjoyed touring Japan for a week. The attended a session in the newly completed Tokyo Temple. Holiday guests of Robert M . and Cleone Whitman who recently returned their California homes included Dr. and Mrs. Clark (Sherrie) Rampton and their family and Richard and Shellie Bowman and their family. Allison Bowman also came from California to spend several weeks with her grandparents. During the holidays Mr. and Mrs. Robert S. Whitmand and their family from Salt Lake Utah to spend City joined with the other members of the family. One evening during the holiday week the family members 'C Elder Matthew Lynn (Matt) Nance has accepted a mission f call to the Belguim Antwerp c Mission. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn M. Nance, 233 E. 200 N., Kaysville. He will speak in Sacrament meeting on r' Jan. 18 at 3:30 p.m. in the Kaysville 8th Ward, 25 S. 200 E. and will enter the MTC on Jan. 22. Elder Brian Kay Raymond has received a call to serve an LDS mission in the California Anaheim Mission. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd A. Elder Kelly D. Chapman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray L. Chapman of Mountain Green, Ut., and formerly of Syracuse, will be honored Jan. 18 in the Raymond of Wilmington, n Mountain Chapel located on the old i BRIAN IS an Eagle Scott and was selected and belongs to the Order of the Arrow. He is a graduate of the LDS Seminary in Wilmington. Brian attended BYU for two years and was president of the Ski Club during his second year. He has been employed at E.I. Mrs. Mickelson was the sisAl. J. Niederhauser of Clinton. Ellison Rites Funeral services were held Wednesday, Jan. 7, 1981 at a.m. at the Lindquist's Kays1 1 ville Mortuary Chapel for Evan L. Ellison, 89, lifelong resident of Layton who died Sunday, Jan. 4, 1981 in Salt Lake City. HE WAS born July 13, 1891 in Layton, a son of Ephraim P. and Elizabeth Whitesides Ellison. On Sept. 19, 1917 he married Afton Bourne of Farming-to- n in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died March 1971. He was educated in the Davis County schools and the University of Utah. For many years he was superintendent of the Layton Sugar Co. At the time of his death he was a member of the Salt Lake home branch of the LDS Church. He served a California mission and had been a member of the Layton Kiwanis Club. SURVIVING are one daugh- ter, Mrs. Allen L. (Lucille) Strong, Kaysville; and one son, Richard Ellison, New York City, N.Y.; two grandchildren and Robert E. Strong, Salt Lake City and Mrs. Todd (Mary Lynne) Morgan, Fruit Heights. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Alice E. Adams, Layton and Mrs. Marion Cowley of Salt Lake City. A son, Gary Ellison, preceded him in death. BISHOP HOWARD B. At home to welcome her are K.C., Shawn and Michelle. Mrs. Fumiss is the former Delores Ballingham of Ogden. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Esmund Ballingham and Denton Fumiss all of Ogden. Its now one of each for Mr. and Mrs. Randy Winmill of Kaysville. Their son was bom on Dec. 26 at the Utah Valley Hospital in Provo and weighed 6 lbs. 9 oz. They will name him Tyler Randy. A sister, Kimberly, is at home; Mrs. Winmill is the former Carole Jensen of Dublin, Calif. Grandparens are Mr. and Mrs. Roy Winmill of Stans-bur- y Park, Ut.; Mr. and Mrs. R.R. Lynn and Sylvia Hooper of Kaysville are announcing the arrival of their son born on Oct. 27, 1980 in the Lakeview Hospital. He was named Mason and weighed 8 lbs. 7 oz. He is welcomed by two brothers and a sister. Mrs. Clearfield High School while in the U.S. and presented a program at a club in Kaysville on Monday evening. She danced in her native costume. Anderson all traveled to Pasadena, Calif, where they enjoyed viewing the Parade of Mr. and Mrs. Alma Olsen of Pocatello, Ida. have enjoyed spending several weeks at the home of their daughter and Nancy and Jedd VanKampen. They have made several short tours and have gone shopping at many interesting stores located in and near Layton. Mrs. Erma S. Evans entertained her family at their traditional Christmas party. Those in attendance were Mr. and Mrs. Don R. Evans and family, Mr. and Mrs. Paul G. Evans, Bryan and Ann Marie, Mr. and Mrs. John C. Francis and family, Mr. and Mrs. Mark H. Terry is the older grandson of Mrs. Erma Evans and he is the son of Leon and Renae Evans of Huntington Beach, Calif. SHE WAS born Oct. 15. in Ogden, Ut. and married Franklin Erl Tingey, a Centerville resident, Aug. 4, 1945 in Memphis, Tenn. The marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Mrs. Tingey had lived in Twin Falls for 'h years, previously coming from the W.D. 1925 Ranching Co. southeast of Jackpot, Nev. She was a member of the LDS 14th Ward.
