DELWYNN SATTERTHWAITE Wed In SL Temple In a beautiful ceremony performed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple Thursday morning, Kelly Dawn Parry became the bride of Kelly R. Ross. They were wed March 18. MR. AND MRS. CLARENCE BIRT 60th Anniversary The family of Clarence H. and Martha Ann Mitchell Birt will host a reception in honor of their 60th wedding anniversary March 27 from 6 p.m. It will be held at South Weber First LDS Chapel, 1385 E. South Weber Drive. 2-- A resident of LIFE-LON- South Weber, Mr. Birt was born Jan. 1 , 1903. He is the son of Charles Thomas and Mary Ellen Firth Birt. He has been a farm owner and operator and is now retired from Utah Power and Light Co., Ogden branch. Mrs. Birt was born in Clinton Dec. 20, 1903, and is the daughter of Charles and Emma Priest Mitchell. She married Clarence March 1, 1922 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. LOVERS OF flowers and all types of gardening, they have taken many honors at county and state fairs. Likewise, Mr. Birt has taken many state and county honors with his horses that he has driven for many years both in Utah and Idaho fairs. The couple is very active in the South Weber First Ward having held numerous leadership positions. They are parents of four children: LaVon Harvatin, Hunter, Ut.; LeuJene West, Ogden; Lama Haven, Provo, and Leon Birt, South Weber; they have ten grandchildren seven and greatg- randchildren. r r A PROGRAM will be given at the.Qpen house at 4 p.m. All friends and relatives are invited to attend. They request that gifts be omitted, vsb t y, THE BRIDE is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce G. Parry of Syracuse. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Royce Ross of West Point. The couple was honored at a reception that evening held at West Point Stake Center. THE BRIDE chose a bridal gown of white organza. It was fashioned with a high neckline, a fitted bodice and a lace yoke. The full skirt was enhanced with a very wide ruffle at the Ushers were Jeff and Darren Parry, Larry Barnett and Rob-b- i Nielsen. Prenuptial parties were given by Mrs. Larry Barnett, Mrs. Royce Ross, Mrs. Grant Parry and Mrs. Brian Parry; Michelle Hartline, Karla Bennett and Carolyn Nance. BOTH GRADUATED from Clearfield High School and LDS Seminary. Kelly Dawn is a sophomore at the U. of U. and is employed at Toms Auto Parts in Clearfield. Kelly attends WSC and has fulfilled an LDS mission in England. He is employed by B&L Distributing Co. The newlyweds will make their home in West Point, vsb hemline trimmed with the same wide lace used at the wrist of the full sleeves and neckline. She wore a picture hat of silk organza and carried a bouquet of white roses, gardenias and stephanotis. Attending the bride were . Cheryl Parry, Mrs-- . Larry (Lori) Barnett, Mrs. Darren (Michele) Parry. Each wore a lavender gown of organza fashioned similar to the brides gown. They carried a bouquet of white gardenias. ASSUMING the duties of best man was Bill Ross. Kaysvillc News Miss Cheryl Gardiner exchanged nuptial vows with Satterthwaite .in ceremonies performed Thursday, March 18 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. ELDER JOHN C. Jarman performed the ceremony. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence (Larry) Gardiner of 551 East 300 N., Kaysville. THE BRIDEGROOM is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Satterthwaite of 2739 N. 850 E., North Ogden. A wedding breakfast at the Hotel Utah honored the newlyweds following their marriage. THEY RECEIVED guests at a reception that evening at the Kaysville 4th LDS Ward cultu' ral hall. The bride graduated from Davis High School and Kaysville LDS Seminary. She graduated from Weber State Col- - lege in the School of Nursing and is currently employed at McKay-De- e Hospital in Ogden in the newborn intensive care unit as a registered nurse. THE BRIDEGROOM is a Weber High School graduate and also graduated from the LDS Seminary. He is currently attending Utah State University in Logan where he is majoring in computer science. Classes that are being offered to adults are jazzercise, jogging, racquetball and tennis. All classes start the week of March 29. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Nace of Ogden. A wedding dinner was held for them in the Red Flame Restaurant in Bountiful March 18. MAID OF honor was Kathy Dawson and Terry Hadley served as best man. Anne attended Layton High School and WSC. Robert attended Ben Lomond High and WSC. They will make their home in Kaysville. Mrs. Alta Stuart will be hostess to the Shantanka Club for their April meeting. Mrs. Julia Webster will cohost. Mrs. Thora Hough hosted the Kaysville Art Club at her home Monday afternoon. Mrs. Winnifred Garrett and Mrs. Elizabeth Simmons were assisting hostesses. The program was given by Mrs. Debbie Hermansen of Provo.
