Smith, 175 Green Dr Layton, received the District Award of Merit from the Francis Peak District of the Boy Scouts of America at their annual recognition and awards banquet. Mr. Smith was active in the scouting Explorer program as a youth. LAST YEAR, Mr. Smith was the district chairman for He also the served on the Camporee staff. He has taught the cub scout leaders training session on four different occasions. He has attended wood badge training and college courses for adult scout leader's. Besides receiving this recent award.
