Show i i APRIL 6, 1983 CHURCH Visitors over the weekend of Hans Anderson were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Terry of Desert Hot Springs, Calif. They were en route to Nebraska. MISSIONARIES Elder Todd Blood returned Thursday from serving his mission to the LDS Italy-Catan- Mission. Elder Blood will give his mission report on Sunday, April 10 in the Kaysville 4th LDS Ward Sacrament meeting at 2:45 p.m. at 875 E. 200 N. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Don Blood. Elder Bryce Maw returned home from serving his mission in the England-Manchest- LDS mission. He arrived home Friday, April 1. Elder Maw will give his mission report at his homecoming on Sunday, April 10 in the Kaysville 2nd LDS Ward, Rock Chapel at 25 S. 200 E. at 10:50 He will enter the Mission Training Center in Provo on June 9. His farewell will be held May 22 in the Kaysville 2nd LDS Ward. He resides at 87 S. 400 E.. Kaysville and is the grandson of Don and Arlene Smith of Layton and the son of R. Smitty. Mrs. Josephine Taylor who is serving in the Georgia-Atlant- a LDS Mission will be released April 6. She is a member of the Kaysville 2nd LDS Ward. Elder Burton Perkins returned home March 18 from serving an LDS mission to the mission. Elder Perkins will give his mission report on Sunday, April 24 in the Kaysville 20th LDS Ward at 8:30 a.m. at his homecoming. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Vaughn Perkins. Elder Stacey B. Morgan returned home Saturday, March o 26 from the Texas-Dalla- port at his homecoming on Sunday, April 10 in the Kaysville 17th LDS Ward Sacrament meeting at 10:50 a.m. at 875 E. 200 N. They will speak at the Clearfield 2nd LDS Ward Sacrament meeting on April 10, at 9 a.m. The chapel is located at 935 S. State Street. THE COUPLE will enter the MTC in Provo on April 13. Elder Germer is a retired Hill AFB employee and an avid horseman. He is a stake missionary, counselor in the High Priest quorum, and also has served as Elders quorum president, Priest quorum advi- sor, stake MIA counselor, ward MIA president, and along with Sister Germer, Elder Germer was both stake and ward dance directors for many years. HE ALSO has been active in community affairs. He was born in Deweyville and was the son of Henry and Minnie P. Germer. Kaysville Rock Chapel. Greg is the son of LeVar and Pat Thompson. HE HAS served as a patrol leader and as scribe and is currently the senior patrol leader of troop 408. As a Cub Scout he received the Faith in God award and the Arrow of Light. He has 21 merit badges and 12 skill awards and has earned the On My Honor award. He is a member of the Order of the Arrow. He has attended the Grizzly Bear Leadership training course. At the present time, Greg is on the Francis Peak Junior Leader training staff and the Lake Bonneville Council Grizzly Bear Leadership Training staff. HE IS in the 8th grade at Kaysville Jr. High and has served as a counselor and president of his Deacons quorum. HIS PERFORMANCE will include the three movements of Beethovens Sonata Quasi una Fantasia, op 27 No. 2 as well as compositions by Chopin, Grieg and Tcherepnin. The Fair is a culmination activity for the many women in the Holmes Creek Stake that have achieved the goal of health, literature and education, career development, home production and storage, social, cultural and spiritual strength. Each goal or challenge completed represented several miles along the 1200 mile trek. The program for Thursday evening will consist of original poetry and music produced by women of the stake who developed these special talents to complete goals set.
