Mrs. Judd has quilted since she was five years Mrs. J udd is 77 years old old. Her mother taught and enjoys quilting very her and her sisters. They much. If the quilt was someone else's their mother would pick out their quilting, but if it was hers she would usually leave their quilting in. Mrs. Judd kept track of the quilts she made until she reached 400, but says she can't guess how many more she has made since grandchildren. She gives each grandchild a quilt as a wedding gift. She has 26 grandchildren. When her youngest daughter was born Mrs. Judd pieced together all of the quilt e blocks for a spread and put them away to work on in later years. That was the quilt her daughter received on her then. wedding day. She has also Mrs. Judd has made won several ribbons and at fairs and quilts for her children and awards exhibitions. She has designed her own quilt patterns and made quilts from other patterns. Marion and her husband Earl were born and raised in Kanab. Her father was a sheepman. They have four children.
