Show Community. Scandinavian Jubilee and flea market dated Plans are going forward for the Scandinavian Jubilee Saturday July 23rd from 10 to 4 p.m. in Ephraim. In connection with the Jubilee, a flea market will be held on the lawns of the First-Fift- h Ward building. The family extends an invitation to all to attend and honor her on her 80th birthday. The family requests no presents. Zella, daughter of Niels Greger-son- , was born July 17, 1903 in Mayfield. She received her education in the Mayfield and Gunnison schools. She married Alden Miller in the Manti LDS Temple in 1922. They then moved to Manti and raised their family in the same house where she now lives. "'- sen. He married Mary Della Tidwell on September 26, 1914, in Manti, Utah. Their marriage was later eternalized in the Manti LDS Temple. Mr. Christensen was a member of the LDS Church and held the office of Elder and had served as a home teacher. He was a kind, gentle and wonderful grandfather. He was always good natured. He was the last surviving child from a family of 10. City; Survivors include his wife, Mt. Pleasant; two sons: Max D. Christensen and Harvey Tidwell Christensen, both from Salt Lake Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 12, 1983 at 12 noon at the Mt. Pleasant Stake Center. She has nine children (one deceased); 40 grandchildren, and 37 Ephraim, on the go. Sybil also enjoys spending time with her family which consists of husband, Doug, her son Karl and his wife JoAnn, two daughters, Linda Gallagher and Joan, both of whom live in Las Vegas, and four grandchildren. We all like visiting and eating when we get together, Sybil commented. And fishing at Flaming Gorge and Fish Lake or camping at their cabin on Burnt Hill are also favorite pasttimes. Sybil has worked as receptionist-secretar- y at the Ephraim and Moroni medical clinics for the past two years. She also does the bookkeeping and helps out at their restaurant, The Embers, whenever she is needed. "I like to keep busy, she stated, and I receive a tremendous amount of satisfaction working both at home and at the office. i . j. The group met early in the day for a noon luncheon followed by a program. Later a quilt was presented which had been made by Marva Peterson with each brother and sister in the family doing a block, Tickets were sold and Junior Poulsen received the quilt at the drawing, Games were enjoyed until afternoon. in the John and Alice Nielson reunion Seventy-thre- e descendants of the John R. Jr. and Alice J. Nielson family held their reunion this year on July 3 and 4 at the old residence at 476 East 3rd South in Manti now occupied by Eve Nielson. Also in attendance were two guests. A progam and visiting occurred Sunday afternoon and then on Monday a barbeque turkey dinner was served followed by activities such as horse shoe pitching, volley ball, jeep ride in the mountains, activities at the park, all climaxed by The Ephraim City Park was the setting for the annual Peterson family reunion this year on July 9. Neil and LaRae Bailey and three sons and Kimball and Trudy Bailey and three children of Duchesne joined their parents Fred and Esther Bailey at the event. Dance workshop dated for July 15 A formal lccturedemonstration on modern dance will culminate a k workshop and will be the final event of the 1983 season of Utah Pageant of the Arts at American Fork on Friday, July 15. The public is invited to attend. The presentation will be held from the spacious lawns at American Fork High School before the final Pageant performance of the season. Admission is free and seating will be provided. Live music will accompany the dancers. 7 to 7:30 p.m. on Modern dance instructor Doris Hudson de Trujillo will perform and direct students in compositional studies relating to time, space, shape, emotional qualities and techniques taught as part of the 1983 Summer Dance Workshop.
