Rytting Mr. Rytting and his family were residents in Ephraim for three years before he purchased the Bear River Valley Leader in 1941. At the time, the owner, Roscoe C. Cox was serving in Hawaii as a mission president. The Ryttings retired after 25 years as publishers in 1966. Both newspapers won awards for excellence from Utah State Press Association, which Mr. Rytting served as president, and which honored him with its Master Publisher Award. Speakers at the funeral recalled Mr. Ryttings life of service to his family, his church and the community. March 10, 1901 in Grantsville, Utah, a son of Charles F. and Lenora Millward Rytting. Reared in Lyman, Idaho, where he was known as "Bonnie Rytting. Attended Ricks College. Married Alvaretta Davis August 18, 1925 in Salt Lake LDS Temple. Entered printing craft as a young man, becoming a typesetter, pressman and publisher. He was employed in Rexburg, Blackfoot and Malad, Idaho and in Tooele, Salt Lake City, Coalville and Logan before he became a publisher in V, Funeral services for David R. Nielson, 43, who died on Jan. 19, 1986, at his home in Sandy of 1986. Mr. Greaves was born on Dec. 11, in Salt Lake City, to Dr. Halbert S. and Afton Christensen Greaves, both of whom are Ephraim natives. 1949, He attended elementary school in Salt Lake City, junior high school in Santa Barbara, Calif., and East High School and Utah Technical College in Salt Lake. Andrew Noble of Rytting, Tremonton, had been a patient at Box Elder County Nursing Home since July. Afflicted with diabetes, he had lost his sight and been in feeble health for several years. Mr. Hopkins served terms in the Utah House of Representatives, two of those as majority leader. He was a member of the Vernal city council and later as mayor. Utah State University presented him its Distinguished Service Award in 1979. Mr. Hopkins was born to LeRoy and Flora Ross Hopkins on Jan. 12, 1912, in Joseph, Sevier County.
