ORDINANCE NO. 124 AMENDMENT TO COUNTY ORDINANCE FOR LICENSING OF BUSINESSES IN SANPETE COUNTY The Board of County Commissioners of Sanpete County, Utah, hereby ordains as follows: The County Ordinance regulating the licensing of businesses in Sanpete County as recorded in Ordinance Record Book of Sanpete County, pages 162 and 163, dated February 10, 1969, is hereby amended as follows: SECTION ONE: It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to engage in or conduct, in Sanpete County, Utah, outside the geographical limits of incorporated towns and cities any business or pursuit hereinafter mentioned without having first obtained a license, and having paid the license fee therefore, as hereinafter provided, for the several businesses and pursuits hereinafter mentioned, A. Restoring damaged roads and providing normal maintenance and upkeep has been severely hampered because of lack of money. Specifically, approx. $180,000.00 in funds expected from FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Act) for road and bridge restoration has not come as soon as expected or hoped. There have also been additional new budget constraints on the county which have contributed to the problem. is Your patience and consideration appreciated.
