Seven members of the Badger Band were selected to play in the prestigious Utah Intercollegiate Band which performed in Provo last weekend. Students mustfirst volunteer to apply for the selection process and then they are nominated on these types of opportunities often. Im really excited to see so many rural kid3 are getting to do this," the basis of talent. Larsen said, We had other students with as much talent that just had other commitments, or we might have had more selected. The 85 students were selected from all of the colleges and universities across the state. says Larsen. The theme chosen for this year is Cultural Arts in Sanpete. Adherence to the theme is not essential.
