Survived by sisters, Claris (Jay) Nielson and Lucile Martin both of Salt Lake; a brother Lynn Christensen, Oklahoma; 13 nephews and nieces; 33 grand nephews and nieces and one great grandniece. Funeral services were held Monday, December 3, 1990 at the MacKay Deseret Mortuary at Lake Hills. Interment was at the Redwood Memorial Estates. Keith Lamar Christensen, loving brother and uncle, died November 29, 990 in Draper, Utah. He was born January 18, 1926 in Ephraim to Orval and Luera Mellor Christensen. Worked as a general laborer for many years. Eryoyed watching and playing many sports, especially enjoyed billiards, gardening and working with his hands. Enjoyed tieing quilts. Served during World War II in t Lyon - Green Amy Lisa Lyon and Darren Robert Green recited wedding vows Saturday, January 5, 1991 at the Sterling LDS Chapel. Bp. Clive Young united the young couple in an impressive ceremony in the presence of many relatives and friends. Following the ceremony the newlyweds greeted guests at a reception in the Sterling Ward cultural hall. A daughter, Elaine, died in infancy, 23 grandchildren and d sister, Tenika, shares the month of January with her brother, since her second birthday will be on Jan. 26th. He was born Aug. 3, 1915 in Preston, a son of Wallace James and Emma P. Bright Johnson. He married Alta Beal Dec. 10, 1937 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died Oct. 11, 1975. He married Roxie Mortensen June 2, 1979 in the Provo LDS Temple. He was educated through the Preston school system and worked for Utah Power and Light company for 34 years. He was a high priest in the Freston Second Ward and served in various positions including ward clerk, elder quorum and Sunday School presidencies. He m epjoyed temple work. He is survived by his wife, one daughter and Tona Rue and Donald Basgieter, Ogden, Ut.; one son and daughter-in-law- , LeRoy and son-in-la- Paula Kaye Johnson, Preston; five stepchildren, Kay Mortensen, Payson, Ut.; Roxane Hale, Sandy, Ut; Lee Mortensen, Salt Lake, Ut.; Neal Mortensen, Salt Lake, Ut; Fern Caka, Provo, Ut.; six grandchildren; 13 seven greattwo brothers, grandchildren; LaVon and Mervin, Ogden, Ut He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Married Edna Miller September 8, 1926, in the Manti LDS Temple. She passed away June 15, 1975. Married Gladys Gribble Nielson April 29, 1978 in the Manti Temple. He was a rancher and farmer, noted for his outstanding quarter horse and cutting horses. Past Manti City Councilman, member of the Manti Riding Club, Sanpete County King Cowboy, certified Show Horse Judge, High Priest in the Manti 1st LDS Ward. Served a mission with wife, Gladys at the Manti is and Jeanette Hatch of Manti. He was born July 6, 1902 at Kingston, Utah, the son of Alonzo Sudweeks and Jennie Ackerman Sudweeks. He and Emma Nelson were married May 8, 1925, at Richfield, Utah. Their marriage was later eternalized Dec. 2, 1925 in the Manti LDS Temple.
