Emission BAT Unveils New Ultra Low High Mileage Vehicle During the past month, the Dolphin Automobile company, a subsidiary of BAT (Battery Automated Transportation) has demonstrated and certified a diesel powered automobile which is consistently obtaining over 90 miles to the gallon of diesel with extremely low emissions. The miles per gallon demonstration was certified independently by Engineering - If Professors from Brigham Young University and from the University of Utah at 92.7 miles per gallon and 94.3 miles per gallon, respectively, at 45 miles per hour. The vehicle used was a General Motors Geo Metro refitted with a special diesel engine and 7 different external devices to increase mileage and reduce emissions. What makes this feat even more important is that .this was not an 800 pound ultra light weight vehicle, but an 1,800 pound 4 passenger production vehicle. The emissions from this vehicle were astonishingly low and were verified by Salt Lake County Bureau of Air Pollution Control on several different types of machines, including a Sun emission machine and a Bosch State-of-the-A- rt emission a better understanding how fuel is processed by Mother Nature.
