MHS Counselors Corner By Natasha Madsen and Connie Good dation of city planning, I have these few things to say, hoping they will be of some benefit. Also, although Im not a citizen of Manti, have always appreciated its lovely small-tow- n atmosphe.e, e along with its fragile character. I believe these qualities are what makes the town such an inviting place to live and work and to visit. As anyone who has crisscrossed the east side of Ephraim has observed, Ephraim has not had a coherent, plan for growth, with truly disheartening and irreversible results. The integolder rity of its has been violated, neighborhoods and zoning ordinances have laid the groundwork for such devastation of the west side also. It is only a matter of time. Ephraim had its required town meeting before the revised zoning was put into effect, and many concerned citizens were there, representing many, many others who were not as always is the case, I suspect. We could stand up and 1 old-tim- ut once-beautif- ul give you a fair hearing and weigh your concerns, and be willing to take a closer look at the impact for good or ill that the proposed zoning regulations will effect.
