Junior High, thanks to the leadership, responsibility, and hard work of Jeff Skinner, senior patrol leader of the Layton 2nd Ward, Troop 154. Jeff, along with 10 other scouts, began in October selling pizzas, earning $1 profit on each pizza, with each of them selling at least five, and Jeff selling 20. They raised $85, $25 being used to buy the schools, flag, $20 for a bulletin board for the bishops office, and the rest going to the Scout Fund. Jeff initiated and led the project as one of the requirements for earning his Eagle Scout Award, which he received Nov. 18. Sand Ridge Junior Dates Yule Concert The annual Christmas concert presented by students at Sand Ridge Junior High School has been scheduled for Dec. 18 at 7 p.m. The concert will be given in the schools gymnasium and is free for parents and anyone who would like to attend. Barbara Willie, president of the schools PTSA, will give the greeting for the evening, which is the organizations meeting for the month. CHRISTM' Several events are scheduled for the ROY holiday season at Roy Junior High School. A Christmas music concert will be held on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. by the schools orchestra, bands, and choir. Earlier that day Weber State Colleges Good Company will put on an assembly at the ' school. Students involved in the program at the school will make their annual Christmas visit Dec. 18 to the Weber County Memorial Hospital. The students will be taking presents to their adopted grandparents at this time. Also scheduled on Dec. 18 is the schools first big evening dance for the school year. Music will be furnished by the group Profound Silence and students are to respect District policies when attending the dance. members of Roy Junior Highs National Sixty-tw- o Junior Honor Society and honor roll students went to the Hansen Planetarium in Salt Lake City to see the current program Star of Bethlehem.
